Tribal Enrollment Services was created to
provide for the compilation and documentation of the Tribal membership
roll and related records, keeping the membership roll as accurate and
current as possible, and to assist the Tribe with other related purposes.
The program maintains Tribal membership records and processes applications
for new membership working with the Enrollment Committee and finalizing
actions taken by the Tribal Council (approvals, disapprovals, relinquishments,
disenrollments). The program maintains information on the BIA’s
IRMS People System and performs data entry on a quarterly basis at Western
Nevada Agency. The program generates statistical data for use by various
programs for Tribal services. The program issues Tribal Membership and
Tribal Identification cards, and identification cards for the Tribal Police
Department. |
