Nevada Cooperative Extension's mission is to discover, develop, disseminate, preserve, and use knowledge to strengthen the social, economic and environmental well-being of people.
"To Make the Best Better"
I Pledge my HEAD to clearer thinking
My HEART to greater loyalty
My HANDS to larger service
My HEALTH to better living
For my club, my community, my country, and my world.
It's more than you ever imagined!
Would you like to train a guide-dog puppy? Ride a skateboard safely? Learn photography, woodworking or do a science project? Join 4-H and get together with other kids in clubs or other programs. You'll learn skills that last a lifetime, and do a lot of fun things for the community too.
4-H Fast Facts
In 2004, Cooperative Extension 4-H/youth programs reached more than 66,000 K-12 youth in 4-H clubs, camps, after-school programs, community centers, home study sessions and school enrichment programs. Nearly 200 teens and more than 3100 adult volunteers helped in these educational efforts.
4-H Community Outreach
The Pyramid Lake 4-H Office has the ability to work with youth and adults. Check out our 4-H Enviro-Friendly Group formed to educate the young members of the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation community about environmental issues.
