Solid Waste Program
The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Solid Waste Program has been very busy the last several years. The Solid Waste Program's goals are to
efficiently manage all waste materials, prevent illegal dumping, and provide quality services to residents.
Activities of the Solid Waste Program:
Manage and operate three (3) transfer stations.
Provide curbside collection services to the three (3) communities.
Provide trash service to the recreational areas at Pyramid Lake.
Collect and dispose of household hazardous wastes such as pesticides, used oil and automobile fluids, batteries, printer cartridges,
fluorescent lights and ballasts, and other alternative wastes not allowed at the general waste stream.
Collect recyclables.
Biennial abandoned vehicle disposal.
Provide large item pickup service (COMING SOON!)
