The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Council consists of eight council members, one Tribal Council Secretary, one Tribal Treasurer, one Vice-Chairman, and one Tribal Chairman. In order to be eligible to vote, your name must appear on the qualified voters list that is certified by the Pyramid Lake Tribal Council.
Tribal Council meetings are the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month. Any agenda requests must be submitted to the Tribal Secretary before the close of business (usually Friday) one week before.

2025 Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe General Election:
General Election Day is Saturday, December 27, 2025, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Tribal Administration Chambers.

Deadline for Candidacy is September 11, 2025 at 4:30 pm.
Candidates for Tribal Council must be: “A qualified voter of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe who is twenty-five (25) years of age or older and must have lived on the Pyramid Lake Reservation for not less than one (1) year immediately preceding announcement of candidacy.”
This Ordinance is adopted by the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Council pursuant to the provisions of Article III, Article IV, and Article VII of the Tribal Constitution, and Article II and III of the By-Laws of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe. This Ordinance shall supersede, replace, and rescind all previous election ordinances, rules and regulations enacted by the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Council.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the rules governing the election process and procedures of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe.
